Why do you need to change your mindset?

We wake up, have a cup of coffee, shower, go to work, come home, make dinner, and go to bed. Then we repeat it. If you have children than you also have to add getting the kids ready for school, helping with homework, and taking the kids to all their after-school activities or commitments.
You know that you need to lose weight, get more exercise, eat better, or it's only 30 pounds. All these things that you may be telling yourself and you will get to it later. There will be time later, later after the kids go to bed, later after the kids graduate from school. Or I will start tomorrow, next week, or next month.
Have you heard the statement "You need to make time for yourself?" or "Self-care is essential to our well-being?" These two statements are very true. We all have busy lives, regardless of if you work full-time, have a house full of children, or retired. Yes, I said retired. Who are we kidding retired people do not slow down! Retirees just find a new way to be busy.
Here is the skinny! Your body is your personal vehicle. You need this personal vehicle to last you 80+ years. Actual automobiles/vehicles cost approximately $30k or more and require oil changes, add fluids, tire rotation, new tires, tune-ups, new brakes, and gasoline. If you don't take care of this $30k or more automobile/vehicle, it would likely breakdown, blow an engine, or just flat out end up in the junk yard.
Let's talk about your personal vehicle. How long do you think your personal vehicle will last you if you don't get enough sleep, eat healthy, take some personal time, lose those 30 pounds, and choose to start exercising? Your vehicle will start suffering with sore joints, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, diabetes, heart attack, stroke, or even worse a life shortens due to death.
It's time to change your mindset. The time is now to take back your health! Start a small workout routine. Start walking for 30 minutes a day. Start eating healthier meals not food on the go! Seek out assistance from a qualified personal trainer to help you start the right individualized training program for you. Take/make the time for yourself now so you can be here for many more years to come.
